Campaign Schwag in the New York Times

It just goes to show that campaign schwag in and of itself is a part of all the news that’s fit to print. The New York Times found it important enough to warrant some in depth analysis. Their take? “Tradition dictates that while selling themselves as potential presidents, candidates must also sell T-shirts, pins and gimme hats. The road to the White House is whipstitched with patriotic hues and “Made in the U.S.A.” labels.”
