Merchandise Vote
There’s the Electoral College, there’s the popular vote, and then there’s campaign merchandise sales. If the latter of these three is an indicator of November’s results, then looks like Obama’s going to win. Obama’s sales numbers for t-shirts, hats, etc. are far higher than those of McCain; on Café Press, Obama-inspired items account for 66 percent of sales. Forget political analysts, looks like political schwag might be the new Doppler radar in predicting political events!
