Gasoline Giveaway
Here’s a political giveaway I’ve never seen before: Gasoline! May not be renewable, but it sure will sway voters. Back in May Dan Seals (D), who is on the ticket for Chicago’s 10th Congressional District, offered to pay the difference between 1.85 (the price of gas during when Incumbent Mark Kirk (R) was elected into office), and the present price of 4.14 a gallon. Seals hoped to highlight the severity of the present energy crisis.
