Naked Cowboy for NYC Mayor!
For the past seven years, New York City politicians and voters have called for the implementation of a campaign spending limit after witnessing Mayor Michael Bloomberg spend $78 million to win re-election in 2005 and $74 million when he ran for the first time in 2001. While Bloomberg has performed admirably during his 7 years at the helm of New York City, media outlets and voters have begun to call attention to his political and fiscal hypocrisy.
While Controller William Thompson is the Democratic challenger against Bloomberg, Robert Burck, a.k.a. the Naked Cowboy, announced that he is running for New York City mayor as a write-in candidate. Burck has asserted that he has built a global brand with nothing but a cowboy hat, boots, and a pair of white underpants. He’s running on the message, “Because Nobody Has Done More With Less,” and has outlined his strategy and programs for improving the city on Naked Cowboy for Mayor. Although he does not have the vast financial resources Bloomberg has to fund his campaign, Burck is offering some campaign packages to supporters for a $15 donation. These gift sets include promotional t-shirts and tank tops, bumper stickers, and campaign posters. Good luck Naked Cowboy!
