Obama’s proposed healthcare reform has always been a controversial but important part of his political platform, so it makes sense that this issue is getting the same merchandise treatment as the President himself. T-shirt designs are popping up left and right graphically voicing the wearers’ support or opposition to Obama’s policy ideas.

As far as specific political issues are concerned, positive designs tend to outsell negative designs, unlike the general climate of mudslinging that characterizes election-season promotional merchandise. The pro-ObamaCare t-shirt’s design has found its way to mousepads, buttons, hats, keychains, tote bags, mugs, and even aprons, while the anti-ObamaCare sentiment only graces a few of these products.
